Trend Micro Certification Program Overview ~ Sales

The Trend Micro Sales Certification Program is a self-paced, online program designed for sales representatives who are looking to enhance their knowledge of Trend Micro products. The program is delivered in a series of online courses (modules) students will reference prior to taking each course examination. The program offers two levels of certification: Trend Micro Certified Sales Representative (TCSR) and Trend Micro Certified Sales Specialist (TCSS). The program is made up of one-hour modules that give sales representatives the expertise to effectively sell Trend Micro products.

Foundation Course (TFC)

TFC certification indicates basic knowledge of Trend Micro – the company, products and services. TFC is a one-hour, self-paced, online certification module and is a prerequisite to any of the certification levels.

Trend Micro™ Certified Sales Representative (TCSR)

TCSR certification indicates advance knowledge in the market positioning, selling techniques and added value of four (4) Trend Micro product areas (modules). Students will learn the key elements to successfully position and sell the products. The sales certification modules are one-hour, self-paced, online presentations.

» The prerequisite for the Trend Micro Certified Security Representative (TCSR) certification is successful completion of the Trend Micro Foundation Course (TFC) and exam.

» As preparation for the certification exams, please study using the Trend Micro sales certification modules.

» Upon successful completion of the TFC and the sales certification exams for four (4) Trend Micro product areas (modules), you achieve Trend Micro Certified Sales Representative-level certification.

Trend Micro™ Certified Sales Specialist (TCSS)

TCSS certification indicates advance knowledge in the market positioning, selling techniques and added value of eight (8) or more Trend Micro product areas (modules). Students will learn the key elements to successfully position and sell the products. The sales certification modules are one-hour, self-paced, online presentations.

» The prerequisite for the Trend Micro Certified Security Specialist (TCSS) certification is successful completion of the Trend Micro Foundation Course (TFC) and exam.

» As preparation for the certification exams, please study using the Trend Micro sales certification modules.

» Upon successful completion of the TFC and the sales certification exams for eight (8) Trend Micro products, you achieve Trend Micro Certified Sales Specialist-level certification.
